Stroup’s Brokerage Company is founded by Jim Stroup

Jim Stroup started Stroup’s Brokerage Company out of his home with the ideals of honesty,integrity and accountability. Armed with these ideals and a devotion to his customers, he created a company that focuses on "Building Relationships through Trust" every day. By doing this, Jim was able to help customers with all their ingredient needs.

Robert Stroup joins his father’s company

 After graduating from the University of Georgia in 1985, Robert worked outside the food industry for a  year before joining his father in 1986. With his father’s guidance, Robert learned to provide quality  service to all his customers with a win: win approach to every interaction.

Robert buys business from his father and renames it Stroup Ingredient Resources

Although Jim retired and the name changed, Robert kept delivering the same excellent services our associates had come to expect. Stroup Ingredient Resources continued to work with quality manufacturers to ensure its customers get the best ingredients and keep up with current trends in food. 

Tracey Stroup joins Stroup Ingredients

Tracey joined her husband in the business after 8 years in pharmaceutical sales and   has continued to be an important member of the team serving as Chief Financial  Officer.  She not only continued to keep the business running, but also has kept Robert going through their 30 years of marriage.

Diana Watson joins Stroup Ingredients

Diana joined the team as our primary customer service professional. She is a pro at keeping our customers informed by employing a consistent communication process from beginning to end. She embodies Stroup Ingredients’ ideals and its devotion to its customers. 

Rodney Hudson joins Stroup Ingredients

Rodney came to Stroup Ingredients with over 10 years of experience in the food industry as a buyer. Like Diana, he is especially adept at keeping our customers informed.  With his knowledge of food ingredients and his dedication to his customers, Rodney has helped Stroup Ingredients grow while continuing to provide quality service to both suppliers and customers.
